Meet The Family
Vincent Patrick Confreda is the oldest living member working on the farm today. He has been farming his entire life. In his 80s he is still active in the day-to-day activities of the farm. Corn is his favorite crop and he still plants all 200 acres of corn that Confreda grows himself. He grows the sweet corn in all of New England, and possibly the world.
Vinny Confreda is Vincent Patrick Confreda's son. Vinny Confreda began working on the farm and eventually opened Confreda Greenhouses, which represents one of the largest Vegetable and Annual growing operations in the state. He grows the best hanging baskets around and he has over 40 years expereince to prove it. He is has two sons, Vincent Confreda Jr. and Jonathan Confreda
Vinny Confreda Jr. is the oldest of the Confreda boys. He has a deverse background in heating, cooling, electrical and irrigation. He brings current, high effecientcy technology to the farm to bring Confredas into the 21st century.
Corey Confreda is the middle of the Confreda boys. He is a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Horticulture and Turfgrass management. He brings 21st century growing practices to Confredas to improve sustainablity and production.
Jonathan Confreda is the youngest of the Confreda boys. He is a senior at Bryant University with a major in Business Management. He brings in current management practices and technologies to Confredas. He is currently the General Manage of Retail Operation at Confreda Greenhouses & Farms.
